The student model Musicmaster was introduced in 1956 as fender's most affordable option. Features include a 22 1/2" scale, single slant-mounted plastic covered pickup at the neck, volume and tone controls, 3 saddle bridge, 21 frets and a desert sand finish. Along with all other Fender models the Musicmaster changed to a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard in 1959 as seen on this example. It features a very attractive birds-eye Maple neck and is in excellent overall condition complete with original hard shell case.
