Model Overview:
Essentially the Epiphone version of the Gibson Dove, the Frontier is a square-shouldered flat-top, 16 1/4” wide, featuring a spruce top with flame maple back and sides, a lovely deep tobacco sunburst finish and charming rope and cactus detailing on the pickguard. This 1966 example is very clean and all original with an adjustable Rosewood bridge, Kluson Deluxe tuners, multiple-bound top and back, and bound Rosewood fingerboard with slotted square pearl inlays. This one has a particularly beautiful flamed back and asides from the lacquer crazing across the body and neck, it’s very clean. It has a sweet sounding, aged tone with nicely rounded bass and excellent clarity.

Lacquer crazing across the body and neck. Fingerboard, frets and binding are all in excellent condition.
All original.
Nut Width: 1 9/16”
