When the Fender Stratocaster was introduced in spring 1954, it didn't take Leo long before he introduced the hardtail version - March 55 to be exact, it can be divisive amongst some, but many players will tell you that it's the hardtail or nothing!
The larger headstock was introduced in 1965 and the three bolt neck-plate in 71' which, other than the colour, are this instruments distinguishing characteristics from other era of Stratocaster.
One of the more desirable colours from the 70's, the Mocca or Walnut finish is in excellent condition, as is the finishing on the neck and headstock.
Not only is this guitar in near mint condition, it is in all original condition and sounds tremendous!
